Springtime is the hardest time to start your mower. After sitting in the cold winter for 6 months, the motor could seize up due to lack of lubrication or the carburetor can be gummed up.

Over time fuel deteriorates and breaks down into different components. The oil in the gasoline will separate and start to harden in the orifices and jets of the carburetor. This is what causes them to plug up and the engine to not start.

When your lawn mower will not start and you are in Kanawha and Putnam County WV, take it to Mark The Mechanic and let him diagnose it for you. A thorough evaluation will need to be performed and the right repair procedure recommended to make it run its best again.

Place a call to 304-395-3330 and speak to Mark directly to set up an appointment. A poor running machine can be harder on the engine and dangerous for the operator. Small engine repair is our specialty and we will take expert care of your lawn mower.
